DAY 02: COCHI - MUNNAR
Check into Hotel Places of interest in Kochi are MARINE DRIVE, CHINES FISHING NET, FORT COCHI , St Francis church , Santa Clause basilica , Jewish Synagogue andMATTANCHERY PALACE . Overnight in the hotel.
Start journey towards Munnar. Munnar is a world famous hill station and is 135 km away from Cochin and may take 4 hours’ drive away. Enroute visit CHEEYAPPRA and VALARA WATERFALLS. On arrival at Munnar check in to hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY04: MUNNAR- THEKKADY
The best part of Munnar is Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities. Munnar is essentially a tea town. Get ready after breakfast to explore the world’s most sought tourist destination. After breakfast visit ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK, MATTUPETTY DAM, BLOSSOM PARK, TEA MUSEUM, CARMELAGIRI ELEPHENT PARK Shopping at Munnar town. Overnight at Munnar.
Day05: THEKKADY (Gavi forest Safari)
Proceed to Thekkady after breakfast in the morning (as early as possible). Thekkady is 110 km away from Munnar and may take 3.5 hours of comfort drive. PERIYAR WILD LIFE SANCTUARY is the main attraction over here and the boating in periyar lake is the only way to visit the sanctuary. During this trip you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more animals. Overnight in Hotel.
Day06: Manali- Dalhousie
TODAY ENJOY JEEP SAFARI IN GAVI FOREST, FLORA AND FAUNA AND SABRIMALA VIEW POINT Free time at evening.
Boat ride in Gavi forest, Sabarimala, Animal Skeleton museum visit, Boating, Water fall, Cardamom Plantation
Breakfast and Lunch. Night stay in Thekkady. Also if you wish to experience an Ayurvedic massage or go for Cultural shows like KATHAKALI or KALARIPAITU, there are facilities available.
DAY07: THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY.
Proceeds to Alleppey which is famous for house boats in back water (Vembanadu Lake). Alleppey is almost 165 km away from Thekkady and will take 4.5 hour drive. On arrival check in to hotel and visit to MARARI BEACH AND SHIKARABOAT RIDE at evening.
(One Have option to stay in House boat on Extra charges)
DAY08: Board Train for Mumbai.
Board Train/Flight from Cochi.

A Tour is an exciting opportunity whether you are a frequent traveller or venturing from home for the first time. Tours provide people with a chance to explore new faces and places. Because of these experiences and for your safety, Backpacker Tours has set some important rules and guidelines to make your trip more pleasurable. Adhering to these regulations will not only enhance the enjoyment of your trip, but also ensure the safety of all other fellow passengers.

Only veg meal provided.
Anything not mention in itinerary will be Charge as per standard Rate.

Entry fees to any park, museum, are excluded.
Bus Etiquette: Your motor coach will be your transportation for the duration of the tour. Buses must be kept in an immaculate condition. All garbage shall be disposed of in proper receptacles. Bus drivers have the important task of maintaining the safety of passengers. Noise should be kept to a minimum so that your bus driver is not distracted. Walking on the bus should be minimal and headphones must be used to avoid disturbing others. You will be held responsible for any and all damage you cause to the motor coach.
Hotel Behaviour: Your hotel room is your home away from home, so treat it with respect. Keep your belongings in a designated space away from the property of others. Pay-Per- View movie channels may not be purchased. All hotel room telephones will be shut-off to outgoing calls. Playing or running in the hallways and the slamming of doors is intolerable. Be mindful of noise in hotels, especially at night while other guests are trying to sleep you will be held responsible for any and all damage you cause to hotel establishment during occupancy.
Lost or Stolen Items: You are responsible for your own belongings. Keep all valuables and money with you at all times. Report any missing items directly to the Chaperones immediately the facility in which you think the item was lost or stolen.
Groups: No one may go anywhere alone for any reason whatsoever! You must remain in groups of at least three or four people. It is crucial that groups stay together at all times. It is of the utmost importance that your Group Leader knows where you are. Remember that you are part of a group. It is highly improper to keep others waiting so always be on time for scheduled activities and departures.
Emergency Cards: Always carry you’re Backpacker Tours “Emergency Contact Details” which will be distributed at the beginning of the tour. This detail provides the telephone numbers of people and places which will assist you in the event that you become lost or separated from the group.
Curfew: All travellers are required to be in their hotel rooms at a time designated by the tour director. Room checks will be conducted by chaperones each night at the time of curfew.
Motor Vehicles: It is not permissible for any tour participant to use any type of motorized vehicle including (but not limited to) motorcycle, jet skis, taxi, private automobile or other vehicle during the tour other than the motor coach provided for the group or when riding with an adult chaperone. And if using then look after the cost and other expenses wholly by themselves.
Contraband: Any traveller possessing or using an alcoholic beverage, controlled substance, or weapon, will be not tolerated and would face tough consequences.
Civility: Exercise the same courtesy to others that you expect in return. Continuously be mindful of your safety and welfare throughout the tour and use exceptional judgment at all times. Remember that you are being watched carefully at all times. You are responsible for your belongings and your behaviour.
