The Marwari community is known for its rich heritage and culture. The Marwaris have always been famed for their close knit family and tradition-oriented lifestyle. To date, even with the adoption of modern conveniences and the acculumation of wealth, the community continues to maintain its connection with its roots.
Food has always been central to the way we celebrate and gather. Some of my earliest memories are of family and friends sitting around the dining table enjoying a meal that had been put together with affection and thought, from the little treat to start the meal and have the salivary glands going to the bit of sweet at the end to signal that a meal had concluded.
Here by organising this Teej Mela Pop-Up, we are trying to showcase and offer a glimpse of our cultural heritage by putting up a Traditional Marwari Vegetarian Meal cooked by a Gourmet Maharaj(traditional chef)compromising of a specially crafted Menu befitting the festive occasion. The menu is designed following our age old and a few contemporary home recipes.
